Jason did an amazing job on my spine. The tattoo is slightly bigger than I had originally expected, but it turned out to be beautiful. I love it. He is professional, friendly, and passionate about his work.

My good friend Stuart did the most amazing cover up! Love this dude and his work. Seriously the most humble, chill dude who has a serious talent! Gave me exactly what I wanted. Plus the environment is super chill and every is so friendly. Cheeto is a cutest dog too! Thanks True at Heart and Stuart!

I've know about true at heart for awhile now, and my sister and I came in to get tattoos for the passing of our father. I can't say enough how amazing and accommodating Rene and Mady are... they went above and beyond for us and we are beyond happy with our tattoos.
What stood out even more was how clean the shop is. The artists are very aware and safe with cleaning standards.
Overall my experience here was phenomenal and I'll be back very soon for my next tattoo!

The best!
Kyle recently did 6 piercings for me and I couldn't be more happy with the results and his service. I've always been made to feel comfortable and he's always willing to help me with any questions. I wouldn't go to anyone else!
Ivan is amazing for tats. He designed a beautiful piece for me and enhanced some of my previous ones...I'll refer all my friends him! He's super sweet and an amazing artist.

Jon is the best tattoo artist around. Been to numerous shops around and Jon made all my tattoos look sick!!! Highly recommended True At Heart to anyone that was a professional tatto and is not a hack.

True At Heart is the best shop in OC. They have multiple locations which is convenient, all of the locations have great artists. They are fairly priced with top notch artist at every location. I personally go to Jon Deanda (owner) which he will go to any shop in the area to tattoo you which is nice. I also go to Vance Freeman (Capo beach location) . These guys do great work and are super cool to chat with which is good because I do long sessions frequently. Check them out I'm sure you will be happy with either of them or any of the other artists.

Kyle is the only person I trust to do my piercings. I've gotten a couple piercings since finding this place and I come here pretty often to have all of my jewelry removed and then come back to get it put back in (for medical reasons). I have two nose rings, and 9 piercings in my ears. It's super annoying having to remove everything and too difficult for me to do it myself, but Kyle is super cool and always does it for me. He is always super kind, friendly, and honest about everything. His tattoo work is also pretty amazing. I haven't gotten anything tattooed by him yet, but I definitely plan to.

This review isn't so much about the shop but about my personal experience with Morgan.
Morgan was recommended to me by a friend and I'm very glad I listened to her! I had a very specific tattoo I wanted done. It was a drawing sketched by someone very close to me so I wanted the exact same thing- mistakes and all. Morgan was so understanding about this and was able to make it come to life! She told me it was a little challenging seeing little flaws on the sketch and producing them because that's not something she is used to, but she respected what I wanted and 100% delivered. I'm very happy with my tattoo and how efficient she worked. I'm also very happy with my experience with her and I would highly recommend getting a tattoo by her :)
